Dear Geocash users,
We have been made aware that some people have experienced issues with importing their Geocash wallet to Wallace. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Our team has identified the issue and is working on a solution, which will be available as an update as soon as possible.
In light of this, we are extending the deadline for completing the move from Geocash to Wallace by one week. The new deadline to complete the move is now January 17, 2023 at 24:00 (midnight). We encourage all Geocash users to take advantage of this additional time to ensure that their wallets are successfully transferred to Wallace.
To move your wallet from Geocash to Wallace, follow these steps:
1. Visit the Wallace download page at and download the Wallace app on your device.
2. Open the Wallace app and select the option to create a new wallet. Follow the prompts to create a new wallet and save the mnemonic phrase.
3. Once you have created a new wallet in Wallace, you will need to add your Geocash wallet as an additional account. To do this, select the option to import an account using a private key.
4. Enter your Geocash private key when prompted.
5. Follow the prompts to complete the account import process.
Please note that if you experience any issues during the import process, specifically if the wallet address on your Geocash wallet is different than the one in Wallace, please wait for the new update that we will release as soon as possible, after that repeat the process.
When you add your Geocash account as an additional account in Wallace, it will be linked to your username. This will allow us to add any pending, redeemable Geo amount to your Wallace balance.
